How big is the diameter of the TB on a 99 5.2? I am making an intake and was gonna get the parts before i take it apart. I was thinkin is 2.5 or 3. I dunno would like to know though. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Get a fastman TB, 50mm for keeping low end torque on your truck or 52mm for high end hp.

 

The stock TB on the 5.2 Rams is just about 50mm, but below the blades. Above the blades near the opening, it is reduced to about 47mm. The fastman removes all of this reduction. I highly recommend replacing your stock TB with one from the Fastman.
