So I finaly got the truck out of the garage (workin O.T.) and test drove the mega viper. The thing is bad a$$! So strong it broke five teeth off my rear ring gear. This truck is a never ending project. I only have 80k on it cause it's always getting wrenched on! Someday I'll get to drive it..........

I have 4.56 with a detroit full. Going to replace with the same. Kinda dissapointed with Spicer right now. Going to go with Richmond or Percision next. I need to look over the locker and make sure it's not damaged. It's only 10k old.

 

Do you think the rear broke because the trans shifts so hard?

 

No.. I think the rear broke because the of A) The Locker or B) 4 wheeling the hell out of it and wearing out parts. I honestly don't know. It sucks because I only got maybe 25 miles playing with the new Trans. I need a new hobby, this sh%t is expensive!

 

I've not been following along with the new posts too much lately, What kind of trans you put in there???
