Default Losing fluid from front axial through breather

I have a 2001 Ram 3/4 tonne 4X4. Every time the outside temperature increases to 70 or 80 F (spring and summer, I live in Canada), some fluid will leak out of the long hose that is connected to the front axial on the passenger side. It looks like there is some sort of breather at the end of the hose. The hose is connected to the axial and extends about 3 feet upwards and is tie-wrapped to the passager side wheel well. The fluid (gear oil I assume) definitely leaks out the top of this hose and leaves a stain on my driveway.

I have had the truck since new. This started happening about 3-4 years ago. It happened with the original gear oil and again after I replaced the gear oil. Again, it only happens when the truck in parked in warm weather. Never happens in winter.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this ???

the valve/breather thing at the end of the hose is supposed to allow pressure to escape, which allows the oil to stay down in the diff housing where it belongs.

i'd guess its not venting properly. i'd remove the vent and either clean it or replace it.

Breather and hose are clean and clear of debris. Out of frustration, I removed the OEM hose and installed a much longer longer hose that I routed to the drivers side right up to the hood. I'll see what that does for me.
