Default New hood?

My buddy pcfixer came across one of these hoods at a good price. I'm undecided if I want it. I'm not sure how it would look on my truck. I have always wanted to put a brush guard on my truck too so thinking that might look funny with this hood if I ever did. What do y'all think?

You'll need a motor first.

I think it would look awesome on your truck, but if you do intend on putting a brush guard on, probably wouldn't look so hot.

From a cosmetic standpoint, it's an extra bump that would give a unique/subtle look to the front end, and make it stand out a bit. I can see the point since it's a style that's generally associated with cars or performance 2wd's.

I want to add a functional scoop to the front of my truck at some point, but have been looking at forward facing alternatives.

I like it. I have a buddy that lives down in Muskogee Oklahoma, and he has a 1997 Chevy ( Give me break) The first day he got it, he had the cowl hood put on there. Now, after several thousands of dollars in mods, he put a brush guard on it. It looks good on his truck, but when you own a 1500 with a blown 502 motor in it, there isn't much you can do to it to make it look bad.
