the only thing id do differently, if it was my motor is a gear drive for the timing, with straight cut gears, just because they sound cool

Thanks man Now I know what you guys are always talking about with the "fastman" stuff.

And just my prefernce but I hate the sound of timing gears. I would rather replace my timing chain every other year (which I plan to do as schedueld maintance) than listen to timing gears. but thats just me. Well out to the shop to keep woring on the motor. lets see what I get done today.

Ok got it installed up to the intake and the valve covers.

this week I will wrap up some odds and ends and also painting the motor. P.S. Looks sweet on the enginge stand with the headers on it.!!!! Will post a pic when its painted!

Yeah for now. I have spent close to 2000 on unexpected things with this truck/motor build. I drilled my heads for la intakes so I could pick up a performer rpm for about what 200$. Maybe in the near future.

Looking good. I'm just about at the same point with mine. I'll take some pic's later and post. I see no problems with running the keg, I'll be doing the same on mine lol.
