It will slide right out after you unbolt the hub.

ive had to take the axle out a few times, just some advice..

On my '99 1500 (Dana 44) the hub nut it 1-11/16 socket. Depending on what socket you get it may be a very very very tight fit. There may be small two small tabs on inside of the steering knuckle which makes the socket fit akward on the nut and may be prone to stripping.

On some models the driver side nut is reverse threads.

Well I got my three gauge A-pillar in the mail today just need to find some adhesion promotor prior to paint. Also placed another order last night, ring compressor and bandclamps and some engine paint and suregrip addidtive. today I ordered my cam from krc performace 512 lift 210/220 duration 108 deg lobe seperation.
We cant start putting the pistons in yet indy must have forgotten to ship the rings to the machine shop by accident but they said they would next-day ship them to me. Also I thought that I would get my ring and pinion today but I didnt so tomorow I should have them.

Default a-pillar help

Hey I bought an A-pillar from glow-shift. Have any of you used there a-pillars before? It looks like there were factory clips on the original (that I broke) and the stocker does not seem to want to fit on there real well. On each end I think I need to trim the lip off the plastic that is keeping it away from the apillar. After that how do you get it to stay tight on there?

Suck just found the directions.......and now that I have broke the apillar clips off the plastic what do I do...dang it!! Well I need to install the stock apillar and with my experinces with epoxys tell me that I will not be able to find one that works well enough on plastic to do what I need. So sence the stock one will be covered up I will have to just screw it on to the metal apillar behind it and be carefull not to hit any wires that may or may not be behind it.

I have tried epoxy and various other glues to fix a pillar type plastic and none of them worked. But superglue works because it seems to melt the plastic pieces together.
