ligthing problem on accident rebuild
first a bit about my truck. its a 01 ram 1500 bougth wreaked from a impound action with a smashed front 05 clip. (i replaced it with the factory style 01 clip) its has the 5.9L magnum, stock. it is lifted 3 inches with 33's on it. the wiring is all dicked on it, it had projector headligths on it, which were somehow wired wrong with a trailer wiring harness. i have tried using a complete junkyard headligth wiring harness, and it was wired in correctly. the headligths wont work, and all i can get it the marker ligths to turn on when the switch is on. i already replaced the flasher, but they wont flash when the signal is out on. its pretty much the same for the rear, brake ligths come on but wont ligth up when brake pedal is pressed and wont flash with the turn signals.
i know with the brake lights...a lot of the time the trailer wiring harness would have a cracked or corroded wire or plug and that was where it was shorting out. i had to completely rip out my trailer light wiring harness and hook everything back together once. it sucked. lol just a thought
Missing ground(s) maybe. Download the manual for your truck, it has all the wiring schematics. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...tmas-guys.html
