i might take a half step onto your turf and drop a magnum engine into my truck. im eyeing a used one from a 96 with about 110,000 miles for 350.

heres the question: any of your trucks come with smog pumps? in my area ive got to preserve the factory emission controls on my '91. i think i can maybe take the pump and bracket off of mine, but if there are actualy parts available id prefer to use them. i can use the manifold from the 92/93 which is for the magnum engine but 1st gen body.

nope, no smog pump....are you planning on swapping the newer computer and evrything?

 

yep. ive got everything i need. exept manifolds. mine wont fit the engine, yours wont fit the truck. only ones compatible with 92 and 93, but also that i can hook the air pump and o2 sensor too. is there not even aspare pulley to hook it too?

nope, dont believe so.....youll prob just have to try using an older one or fabbing one

 

It mentions something in my Haynes manual about the Heavy Duty 5.9L's in the 2500's having a smog pump. It doesn't say what years though.
