Ok I bought a 1998 Dodge ram 1500 that the Abs Module was missing.
Because of this my speedometer did not work.
I bought a used donor ABS module and had it rebuilt.
When I got it back and hooked it up the speedometer works great.
Now the only error code I'm getting is a VIN MISMATCH code.

Can the Dodge dealer re-program this module to my vin #
Or do I have to buy a fresh module for over $400.00 bucks.

Any help.

The dealer said they could do it but I have read that it can not be done.
