Default timing adjustment

how can you adjust the ignition timing on a 99 ram with 5.2 v8. and which way should it be adjusted for more hp?

cps mod,,, advance the timing for alittle more power it the uper rpms

No it will not affect low end. By advancing the timing the engine might start pinging at high RPM. This can be made worse by to much load or sparkplugs that are to hot. So if you do the mod drive with you radio off for a while and really listen to the motor. IF you hear pinging there is a couple of things you can do. Check the plenum, colder thermostat, colder spark plugs or adjust the timing back a little.
