When I had my Nissan I went to Moab in 2007. The only trail I did was Fins n Things. My Frontier was a crew cab long bed, and that proved to cause some difficulty with the length of the wheel base. Slick rock grabs like sand paper, so snapping axles can occur if you aren't careful...saw a guy in a brand new Xterra do it. But, there are a few trails that are okay for stock to slightly modded rigs. Check out Canyonlands and Arches while you're there...just right down the road. This is a Nissan site, but has some good info: http://gonemoab.alpinetribe.com/b2/blog1.php. Here is a vid of me getting stuck, lol: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmO0K9z17u0. You'll be fine without lockers. Those little bushes along the trails tend to make little scratches down the side of your truck, too, so look out for those. You'll have a blast.

There are definitely some butt-puckering views and trails there! I don't like heights very much, so Canyonlands scared the poo outta me.

Took me a while to find a dodge (this was a ramcharger lol) on these trails these are some of those "puckerer's" you referred to.

Well, I'm sure I wont be tackling hells revenge anytime soon lol. I'm going to be happy to get back in one piece... steering box started leaking and the truck is running funny. I'm hoping its just the altitude, (currently sitting outside of Bryce NP with nothing to do because of a rain delay... and well it's actually close to 8pm). I lucked out... found a wifi spot outside of a hotel near the park enterance. connection is pretty good.

since I'm on a rain delay... thought I'd start processing pics and upload them to photobucket. I can post a link if anyone is interested. Currently have Zion & Bryce.
