For some reason in the Haynes Repair Man. Dodge Pickup 1994-2001(printed 2001) says "Transfer case lubricant type..........Dexron II(2)ATF. The 1995 Ram Pickup Owner's Man. say's "Use Mopar ATF plus(I know they don't make it anymore)or equivalent, or a fluid of the type labled MERCON or DEXRON III ATF." Owner's Man. implies use the same fluid in both Transfer case and Transmission.
