Body lift or not
MmmmmmmmmKKKK
well i have come to you guys for your opinion on if i should get a body lift or not
I have asked many people and i have been debating for a long time now.
I want to get more lift without messing with anymore suspension....
I want bigger tires also but if i go with bigger tires i want to get a body lift...
I have the RC 5 inch lift and i have 35x12.5 and i want to go with bigger tires so if i was to get a 3 inch body lift what size tires would be able to go under the truck????
I need to make up my mind and am hoping you guys will point me in the right direction!

As always, remember when upgrading tires sizes, the gears should be considered too. What gears do you have now? With 35's I would hope 4.56's.
Anyway, if you put a 3" body lift on top of the 5" suspension, I would say 37's would be a nice fitting tire. You should have plenty of room in most situations without rubbing, although with some extreme flexing I am sure you could stuff a tire into the rear of the front fender (mainly depends on the tire and wheel width as well as wheel back spacing). I have seen lots of 38's with 8", but its to much tire for my likings.
Again, if you havnt upgraded gearing yet, I would highly consider 4.88's for 37-38" tires. If you already have 4.56's, that would be fairly adaquate.
Also, with heavy wheeling 37's-38's will be fairly rough on your front axle (assuming you have a half ton with stock axles).
