Default Headers question?

So im looking at getting some shorties but do you think these edelbrocks will work nicely? It says they have a ti-tech coating or should i get ceramic? just want your 2 cents
i have a 96 dodge ram indy with a 5.9 and 2WD

I've heard good and bad about them. The bad being that they tend to get rust holes in them.

I'd go for stainless steel ones myself. Gibson makes a set I believe.

get ceramic. Ive got gibson ceramic stainless. Beautiful. No rust, no warp.

As long as you aren't removing the factory emissions equipment and are retaining you cat and o2 sensors you should be fine. By the burg do you mean Pittsburgh? If so then the above info I gave is correct. You guys still just do the cap test and no pipe test right?! The rest of the test is a visual inspection of the equipment and not a functionality test.

Of course he means pittsburgh pa. All of us Pa guys get the same emissions test. Well u don't but its coming yr way.

No we have it here too. Stupid gas cap test. 40 bucks for nothing. Never failed one yet and when they get an error they just use a test cap to pass it anyway. I wasn't sure he was in PA since his location doesn't list it and there are other areas in the country that use the "burg" as their misnomer.

Yr windsheld says other wies. You only have one stick not 2 like me. I gotcha about the location. Yr about an hr form my other house.

yeah im pittsburgh guy, go pens !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol but yeah im getting longtubes and no sniff test anymore i think so im hoping i will be good , i just dont want to waste money on all the goodies and have to take it back off agian :/
