Default 47RR transmission

I was wondering as I didn't get help from the dealership. I'm looking at one of these transmissions that's coming out of a 97 Ram 2500 with the V10. I don't see that it wouldn't, but will this also bolt to the 360/5.9 motor available in those truck?

I am also wondering what would need to be done so I can use the PCS transmission controller to add paddle shifters. Do I need to replace the valve body or will the one on the transmission work?

Not sure on the PCS, but I know for 99% certainty that a 47RE will not bolt up to our V8s. You would have to do some custom adapting, if its even at all possible.

You should be able to have a 46re built to the 47re spec as far as the internal parts.
