hey i just bought a set of 10" vinyl racing stripes for my 2001 ram. i was just wondering if anyone had a similar install. i have the stock "V" sytle hood it goes from 6" in front to 12" in back. i dont know how the vinyl will lay in the dip for the V. just looking for input and if someone has done it, how far apart did you space them? thanks. will have pics up next week.

 

I don't have the stripes on mine but I used to work for a sign shop and I can say that you can get the vinyl to work with the hump of the hood. You have to get your layout and use little pieces of tape to hold it in place. When you go to work the vinyl into the hump start at the edge that is away from the hump and work toward the hump with it. Take your time and it will come out good. Just watch for any air bubbles along the way.
