Default Transmission throttle cable adjustment

I read about it in the Haynes manual, but it didn't make a whole lot of sense. How DO you adjust that thing? And is there any way for me to avoid doing theat altogether? I have to take the EB off for a plenum fix/keg mod

You don't have to adjust it after you take the throttle body off. Just clip it back in. At least I've never had to re-adjust mine after taking it off, and I've done it about half a dozen times.

Pull it straight towards the front of the truck. Don't wiggle or pull it sideways or you'll break it.
