so i plan on putting a new exhaust system on my truck, New cat and muffler. I want to run 3" pipes for more sound . But then again i want more power. What size pipes should i run from the cat?

 

either single 3" or dual 2.5........you just doin cat back?....if so, then dual 3" prob wouldnt be too bad, but full dual 3" would be overkill

 

cat back. im puting a magnaflow cat and all new pipe from cat back. And why do you say 3" would be an overkill

 

yeah i hate to say this but TOO MUCH FLOW! if ur doing duals like i will be go with a 2.25 if ur doing a single then 2.5 or 3<--- with mods of course

 

i had the flowmaster 10series dumped, but i crushed it when i went 4 wheeling on a rock and i had 3". IM not gonna do duals, im gonna do single in dual out, dumped; or dual in single out dumped. Which one do you think will be better?

 

single in dual out......3" wont be bad on that...you just gonna get a single in dual out muffler or two?
