Default My damn cat converter

my muffler has been off for some time now. So i decided to put a 1/2" tubbing down my cat, and its still on my truck, to knock some of that SH** out. So im under my truck shoving the pipe in it and its like im hitting a wall in there. I get to shove it about 2 inchis into the cat until i hit a wall of "what"!! So i pull the pipe back out and theres white powder stuff on it! What the hell is thats stuff? And is my cat clogged??

The white stuff is just what's in the honeycombs, which you have to break apart and remove with the pipe you are using and a BFH.

Punch the cat out, check the plenum http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2000/09-05-00.htmn ,fix it if it's blown, do this if you have not, http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1998/18-48-98/18-48-98-v8.htm ,change the plugs if the plenum was bad and run numerous bottles of Techron Plus through it.
