Default vent ?

i saw in a thread somwhere about your ac going from vent to defrost when you get on the gas hard and mine does this. what is it and how can i fix it?

You should do a search on this as it has been answered a thousand times over, but to help you out it is a vacuum leak. As was suggested in a very recent thread take starting fluid and spray your vacuum lines in the engine bay and listen for the idle to race up. BE CAREFUL AROUND YOUR EXHAUST. A fire would ruin your day. A very common location is the cruise solenoid under the battery tray.

or check valves in the vac lines near passenger side firewall.

Try a forum search on Wild Vents. There is a thread I made back in the fall that shows a pic of one of the places to hook up a check valve that will "fix" the problem.
