ok so my truck threw the 1740 code and i replaced the TCC/O/d Solenoid. problem soleved 2 days later code comes back O/D kicks off so i make it through the weekend so i call around today and aamco checks it for free. come to find out the torque converter is not locking up. so i left my truck there and he is going to pull the pan check all the wiring, ECM, valvebody, etc. so tomorrow he will call me and let me know what he finds and what i want to do. i will keep you posted...

yep but the good thing is maybe it will be fixed. somtimes you gotta look at the bright side. idunno maybe not. i just hope it doesn't cost and arm and a leg.

I was surprised when you posted changing the sensor fixed the code. When I did a search on the code, seemed to have a lot of different bugs as a result. Good luck.
