Default Toyo Open Country AT ??? Any Good?

I am considering buying a set of Toyo Open Country AT 265/70R17 for 2001 Ram 2500 (I upgraded the rims to 17).

Any opinions or thought on these tires? And how much did you pay for it? I was quoted $165 a piece by a local tire shop. I have seen it ranging from $120 to $230 a piece.

I used to sell tons of them, they're a good A/T tire. You can get them in P or LT so make sure you go LT, and at that point you can get 8 or 10 ply as I recall, so make sure you're comparing the same tire for prices.

If you have a Les Schwab in the area, I would check there. They come with a good warranty, which covers nails and other road hazards. They've got a long life, too.

They outlast the mileage warranty, as long as your alignment is okay, and you rotate. It's 70k as I recall, and 60k is the H/Ts, but I could have that backwards.

i have the toyo open country A/T's on my 3rd gen 2500. I have them in a 285/75R/17. Paid about $165 a piece for them from 4 wheel parts. I LOVE THEM! absolutely amazing tire. I have the E load rated 10 plys. they are quiet, tons of grip on pavement wet or dry, great on dirt/gravel roads and pretty good in light sand. I live in san diego so ill never get to try them out in the snow, but i hear they do pretty good in that too.

I highly recommend them, you wont be disappointed.

Wow, you live in Oceanside, too! I just moved down from Seattle, where I sold the A/Ts at Les Schwab, they were great in the snow we had last winter.
