No worries, man. There are some major differences between 3rd gen and 2nd gen. You guys like a whole lot of show, and maybe a little bit of go, and we like a truck that can go from playing in the mud one day to a road trip the next .
We just have to accept the differences.

What the little pissing match over in TOTM was over was the two sided comment by AF. We get that everyone is entitles to their own opinion, but we also prefer someone that is going to voice their thoughts know what they are talking about.

We picked two trucks this month that most people would look at once and then forget about them. A lot of us over here prefer that. We like being able to roll up to someone, get laughed at, and then we proceed to send them home crying.... That's how we roll

AF also voiced the same thing to hydrashocker about his Durango. He said it looked too "stock"? I guess he has a problem about sleepers.

What I also do not understand is his truck looks near stock. All he has is wheels?

Yep, I was one of you guys once. My old '98 RCSB 5.9L 4x4 workhorse...

Does that get me any brownie points for the TOTM?

I've been a Mopar guy since my first car, a Coronet 440 station wagon. Since then I've been lucky to own a '73 Cuda, '74 Roadrunner, '75 Ramcharger. '79 Power Wagon, '86 CJ7, '89 Cherokee, '96 Grand Cherokee and the '00 RAM 2500 I now have as well as a ton of motorcycles. Were they all gems? Not all, but none was a dog or a money pit like some of the other vehicles I've owned. Point is, it has always taken a little something extra to be a Chrysler owner in a world of Fords, Chevys and imports. On that basis alone any Chrysler owner is a friend in my book. Arguing over which gen is better is silly, they're all Dodges and just owning one makes us all special. Drop the 'tudes and enjoy whay ya got.

I apologize as well if, in my earlier post in this thread, it sounded like I said most 3rd genners were like that. I was still a little POed at AF.

A lot of you guys have been and are very helpful, and know what you're talking about. I just can't stand the guys who are jerks or aren't smart enough to be able to tell when they are jerks, and sometimes I let my temper get the best of me a little.

I can stand a lot of things, especially since I work in retail, but rudeness is my pet peeve.

I can respect that. In fact, my truck was stock and clean once, and utterly useless except for driving to work. Nothing against the sleepers in the TOTM but mine was (yawwwwwnnnnnnnnn) a real sleeper too. Actually you couldn't sleep in it. Rode worse stock than it does now, especially when loaded.
As far as lifted trucks go...bogger mine is not. Most unlimited trucks are built low.
