Bilstein Rear shock Q
Lifted my 2000 Dodge 1500 4x4. I put a Skyjacker 2" AAL in the rear and I am upgrading the rear shocks. I am getting Bilstein 5100s, but I am unsure of which ones to get. Bilstein has the 5100s for 0-1" of lift and then 4" of lift for the rear. Would I be better to get the 4" style since the AAL adds 2 inches?
either one would work fine, shocks have plenty of travel.
but given the choice of the 2, and assuming the price is the same - i'd go with the 4" extra length. it won't be "too long".
if the 4" oversize cost more, or took a long time to get, i wouldn't hesitate to take the short one. it won't be "too short".
