No your exactly right. The average person (not in a bad way) doesnt have all of the tools or time needed or info to rebuild an automatic trans.

Most transfer cases and manual transmissions are "just gears". So the average wrencher can pretty much figure it out, and if things get hairy just use the bigger hammer. lol

That is a nice truck. I kinda like the pre-2003 7.3s. Hate the F-150s, though!

I'll go out on the limb here. If he would have said a Toyota I would have been cool with it. My first truck was a yota. I actually still have it but it has issues.

My boat and many cars.

Ive been looking at trucks for a little while now. My fathers 1500 dodge would pull my boat but i dont think it would get it back out of the water.

So if im buying a truck i might as well go ***** to the wall.
