I was having similar problem where the passenger's side power outlet quit working on my 2006. I check the fuses and all were good. I removed the power outlet from the radio bezel and performed a continuity check on the positive pin on the power outlet and the center of the power outlet plug. There was no continuity. It turns out that the rivet in the center of the outlet that holds the brass pin were not making an electrical connection to the pin . I took 2 steel punches and a hammer and lightly tapped the center rivet in the power outlet, tightening the connection. The outlet now works. I was worried that it might be something more serious, but turns out it was a 30 minute fix. I hope this might help others with the same problem.
