Ha Ha, Dude, that looks great. That's what I'm talking about. You have the original stock fogs and added some to your brush guard. That will really light up a dark road. I love the front plate too. Hey, there's that Camaro birddoggin you again.

I agree with the whole truck looking good thing... but do you have any clue on what the dixie flag stands for? I mean really understand the history behind it?! It totally stands for the south and most people think of slavery and white power when they display that flag. That is one item that will never be displayed on any vehicle of mine!

well most people can think of slavery and white power when displaying the confederate flag if they want to, i don't. i've had a few black guys ask me if i was racist before because of my front plate and i kinda threw me off trying to figure out why they would ask that before they mentioned the flag. i'm not so i wasn't thinking about that when i put it on my truck.

on a related note, have ya'll heard that nascar (not really a fan) is wanting to ban confederate flags at the races? not only flags though, they want to ban it from clothing too because its "offensive" (friggin democrats). i don't believe that one is going to fly considering that like 75% of nascar fans are from the south.

Don't go getting offended now....To me (and maybe many other folks) the Confederate flag stands for freedom to do what you want and be who you want. It stands for strength and independence. It stands for the things that this country use to stand for before all the left wing wackos took over this freakin country and made everybody walk on egg shells. I grew up in the 70's when none of these ridiculous rules that we have today existed. Yes, it was a tough time with racism, sexism, discrimination, dirty joke telling etc. It also had many positives that are gone today but most people gloss over, such as family values, having a back bone, standing up to your enemies and fighting your own battles, being a father to your kids, putting food on the table instead of buying some stupid $500 tennis shoes, believing in god and country, following the laws, and all the positives and negatives made us into people that were better at the end of the road. I don't know how the rest of the nation is since I have always lived in California, but before you used to get the rewards that you worked hard to get. If you didn't work hard you got squat, and that's the way it should be. Now, we have people coming in to this country illegally (breaking the LAW) and getting more services than the rest of us who are here legally. I was just hearing on the radio this morning how many cities in my area are canceling fireworks shows because of budget problems, but they can afford to spend twice as much money on benefits for day laborers. I'm sorry if my opinions are not shared by a lot of people these days (especially in my area) but I am an old fashioned guy with old fashioned values. Like I said everything in this world has good and bad. My philosophy has always been to take the good and leave the bad behind. Unfortunately most people now a days take the negative all the time and just use it for their personal gain. I have worked hard (really hard) all my life, and it really pisses me off to have some wine sipping left wing wack job (not you, don't get me wrong) come along every other day (which is what we have to deal with all the time here in Cali.) and tell me how I have too much and I should be giving it away to those that have less. I'll get off my soap box now, but I hope you understand I don't mean anyone any harm, but I don't like being harmed in the process either. And no, I'm not planning on becoming the next unibomber....

+1 on the dixie flag. Most youngsters really don't know the history of it. While its cool to be a "rebel" you really need to know what you are rebelling about. It's a sign of independence yes, but its meaning is a bit "washed out". 147 years ago it was the symbol of a traitorous(sp) band of states. And yes, skinheads and other hate groups North and South of the Mason Dixon line still use it as thier standard.
If you want to be a "rebel" fly the stars and stripes. Most people are afraid to, and its probably one of the most hated flags in the rest of the world. That way you can be an ORIGINAL rebel (like in 1776).

This is what I'm talking about! There are other more serious statement made by flying dixie.. Fly the stars and stripes with pride! We had a fella at work that had a dixe flag across the back window of his truck.. the company made him remove it if he wanted to park his truck on compnay job sites or company owned parking areas! He removed it.
