Default Stabilizer bar links

Can I replace the links without putting the truck up on stands?, the book says I have to raise it up and support it with stands to remove the bar, but I just want to replace the links. I have a soft dirt driveway and it's a pain to get everything around for the jack and the stands to sit on so they don't sink.

Thanks
Mike

? Your front sway bar right? You shouldn't need to jack anything . Might want to support the bar with some small bungi straps when you remove the links. Or remove and replace one link at a time and you won't need anything.

I guess the only reason to use jacks/stands is it gives you a bit more room, even more with the tire out of the way.
