just keep oil in it my truck dose the same its probley becuse the motors idle low and that keeps the oil pressure a little lower than 40 psi and if your really worryed about it start it and then if it dose it take the oil fill cap off and see if oil is moving around in it.

Iam running 10/30 can the idle be adjusted by hand?
I was thinking it might be the oilpressure switch , anyone else had this problem?

Ive heard of many people getting the oil pressure low light coming on when they dont have the oil at the full mark on the stick. If its not full on the stick its worth a try to fill it to the full mark..

UPDATE

Ok I replaced the oilpressure switch ,and did a oil / filter change
other than knowing I have a new oilpressure switch and clean oil nothing changed
..
When I come to a stop it drops very low revs and the oil light comes on and 50% of the time it stalls
If i come to a stop and disengage the clutch and coast to a stop its fine ?!!!
Is there a sensor or switch thats cheep that i could replace first and go from there ?
thx

Thats weird. Its fine untill you stop..(with the clutch disengaged) And then when you do stop it idles real low??? And then the oil pressure light comes on? Am i correct?

If im correct:
Maybe, since it is idling real low then thats why you have low oil pressure. The lower the rpm the lower the oil pressure. The higher the rpm, your oil pressure will be higher. So is it idleing way lower than its supposed to idle? Have you gave it some throttle while your stopped in the truck somewhere like at a red light and got the rpm up to regular idle and seen what your oil pressure is? Have you tried that???

It idis good ,just drops when i tap the gas or come to a stop light ,
bogs down and then revs back up or stalls
