Default Need help with new grill guard

I found a guy that has a grill guard that he said will fit an 01 ram 1500 is there anyway to confirm it will fit without actually fitting it against the truck. I have never put one on so I don't know what measurements to take. The only one I have ever put on was on a 78 ford p/u. any suggestions on how to confirm will be appreciated as well as what to look for as well. He said they were pull off's and I don't know what brand it is either. I just know it's painted black and it has the removable head light guards. If yours has the removable head light covers or not please post a photo so I can compare. Thanks

Is it coming of another 2nd gen or another type truck? WaynesWorld posted this great link in another thread if you want to see what one looks like. http://truckgeardirect.com/?ITEMID=WD-803

He said it was a "Pull off" I'm assumiong that he get's them from truck that were traded into dealerships and they pull them off before reselling them. I'm not sure. The photo you sent is more of the "bully" bar style, I really like those but I want to attach a Winch during the winter months "Just in case" I want to attach lights to the front as well. The Bully's don't have enough room. I do like the look of that truck though thanks

Well, that can mean anything. I wouldn't shell out cash on something that could have come from a Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Nissan, or anything. I would demand more specifics before handing over my money.
