Question Do I need a new control arm kit?

I have a 2000 Ram 1500 2WD and I am looking to get 2" polyurethane spacers to level out the front of my truck. If I get these will I also need a new control arm kit or anything else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you'll have a problem. At least, you shouldn't. Use the search feature and look around for stuff posted by Viper37. He had a 2.5" spacer with stock control arms. The only mods he had to do in order for things to perform correctly was new shocks and a limiting strap. Other than that, you should be fine. Even with a 2", new shocks will probably be needed.

Control arms? You mean A-arms? 2 wheelers don't have control arms, do they?

Anyway, it seams like the spacer kit will come with everything needed. You don't have to do anything on the 4x4 models... not completely sure about the 2x4.

No, we have control arms. Fabtech makes great aftermarket control arms for our two wheel drives, but they're fairly expensive.

Control arms are for solid axles.
