Default 1500 startin problem

I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L. Tried to start this morning engine turned over then lost all power, no lights, radio ignition nothing. disconnected battery, turned key on, power had returned but when tried to turn key over lost power again. Any suggestion would help.

you might want to check to see if there is a short in the hyperdrive energy storage coils, as sometimes the ignition circuit cross feeds into the bypass relay for the engine relay.
holy crap way to many movies
mine was doing this a while back but it kinda just fixed itself one morning when i went to start it... hope you get ya ride fixed i know i hate when mines broke

You mean to tell me it wasn't the bypass relay to the hyperdrive creating a shift in the time space continuem. Ah, too bad, I was looking forward to a fix for that.
