New issue, 2001 5.2 Auto Shifts into neutral at highway speeds

I haven't been on the highway with my truck lately and decided to go on errands the next town over, anyway once the truck was heated up on the highway it would occasionally kick into neutral a second or so and go back into gear, tried in 3rd and it would do the same thing every 5 minutes or so. Motor would rev up and transmission would reengage, happened when I was coasting down also, RPMs dropped then went back up, odd.
Could the governor do this?
At least the scanguage let me move my MPGs up a couple marks on the highway, 18mpg is nice
I will have to try harder to see if 20 is possible.
