Default Front end Humming - 1998 Dodge 4x4

Front end hums between 15 mph to 40 mph. Above 40mph is completely gone. When I hit the gas its there. I just replaced my passenger side axle ujoint because it was clicking (that was fun, broke so many tools but learned alot) thought that would fix the humming, nope but no more clicking.

I had NTB check out the front end, hub bearing are good. I did the test Lifted the front end and no wiggle on both tires. I"m stumped i can't figure it out. Help!

New tires Daytons Timberland.

Many thanks
-O

Maybe the driver side joint is starting to go bad.

you could try removing the frt drive shaft . There's a ball centering joint in the double-cardon joint that can cause the humming as you describe . The are about $60 to replace . Since you can't lube them , they can dry out . I had this happen to my Jeep Grand Cherokee , it took alot of diagnosing to find it . Good luck , hope it works for you too .
