Default 2001-2500-5.9

Hi guys.
I think my compressor may be bad.
I had a leak in gas ( not sure where, maybe evap.) and charged to 40 on low side.
Compressor was cycling from 15 to 40; about every 7 or 8 secs.
No cool air. none.
Could dryer be stopped up?
Low pressure line felt the same as high.
guess I need to put good gauges on it.
Any ideas would be app.
Its hot down hear

SOme thoughts :

Get gauges - both HIGH and LOW pressure readings are needed!!!
Please avoid using STOP leak SEALER products...
get some refridgerent with dye ....again no sealer!!

a tip: placing the can of surva in a pitcure of warm water will help get it into system...the static will need to be @ 40psi to engauge compressor then monitor HIGH side as well as low....

Compressor may be OK but your expansion valve may be plugged up. Using the gauges on both sides will tell you if this is the case. Don't run the compressor too long this way or you WILL burn it up.
