Olyelr is right. Everyone I talked to in my area quoted me $900-$1000 to change both gears, and thats just labor with my providing the parts. You factor in parts, and you're talking roughly half again that amount.

If this truck wasn't my DD, I might invest the time to learn and just rent the tools from an auto parts store. However, I need it at least every other day, so I can't have it indisposed for a long period of time.
