Where is the factory connector for the brake controller?

Now that I have a bigger horse trailer, I'm thinking trailer brakes is a good idea.

Under the dash to the left of the steering column. It's blue, you cant miss it. You are going to have to buy the adapter for the brake controller though

A dodge specific adapter? (i.e, the connector is dodge not universal) ?

Ok. Thanks! I'll go looking for it.

I see a green connector. 2 wires. It has a plug in it, with a yellow wire looped essentially connecting/shorting both terminals together.

Is that it?

lol, no hints. try to only trim as much as you need to fit your controller, if you take out too much you will get a floppy flap cover, lol

Im not sure. If your truck came with factory trailer package i believe the connector should be blue. Its just hanging there. you cant miss it... go to a parts store. I got my adapter from NAPA. for like 13 bucks. then just splice the wires together to the quick connect adapter how ever you are comfortable
