i dont' mean a tug of war between two trucks i'm talking about hookin up to a trailer like the video showed that was posted earlier, just something i was thinking about, but what are the rules and regulations? i was looking at the indiana state fair and didn't really see anything about it

Call up the organizer. Rules will change and vary from state to state. Also depends if this is a sanctioned pull or not.

Never seen a candy cane driveshaft. Seen plenty of broken u-joints, broken yokes smoking clutches and even saw a differential crack once.
