Tire wear on the outside of the the edge of the tire is caused by your toe being out of alignment.
When the tire wear is on the inside, that's the camber that need adjusting.
Toe isn't that hard to set, but if you don't have the tools, you need to take it into a shop to have it done. Cost: anywhere between $30.00-$100.00

Edit: Acceptable toe is .00-.1

Front end alignment time. Usually positive camber is the cause of that. Excessive toe in may possibly cause it. Rub your finger tips across the tires, if they slide easily from the outside edge toward the inside and the tread groves tend to grab the finger tips going the other way its toed in too much.

Camber settings were not given for these trucks. 90% of the time, toe is the issue.

Exactly, only over time, though it will move out of whack.

This is true of all solid axle front end 4X4s. It can change over time due to sag and/or bending of the axle tubes from impact or abuse.

I would stick to the basics first...

Just go have it aligned and ask them if they could inspect your front end, it could be anything...
Tie rod ends, shocks, bearings, rack and pinion gear, who knows, but more than likely it just
needs an alignment.

The thing you don't want is to be headed down the road after it's aligned and the stuff still wears sideways,
if there is something the matter, some piece of the suspension or the steering that's gone bad, then that needs
to be fixed or you're just wasting your money.

You want whoever is doing the alignment to look out for that, just in case.

Take it someplace reliable.
