Yea, mine has been intermittent, and seems to only come on when I'm broke. When the 0441 light doesn't pop, I forget about it.

 

I hear what your saying. My ram problems only happens when my bank accounts dry. I still need to take it to my tranny guy to take a look at it and change the fluid then adjust the bands. then I gotta swap out my Master cylinder...the list goes on and on. I got my purge solenoid from the bone yard for 15 bucks. It's worth a shot. Beats paying $40. they have alot of clunker cars there now.

 

if you get the 0441 code... whats the worst case scenerio of driving with it ?

i only seem to get the code when its under 30 degrees outside but oddly when it warms up ambient temp.. it goes away.. should i still replace the purge solenoid or will it just rob gas or what...

i have a 2003 dak 4.7 clubcab slt 2wd..

It's an emissions code so the worst your doing is getting bad MPG. What have you done so far to fix the problem?
