Unhappy Problem with my 96 Dodge Ram 360

It started missing last week so i put a complete tuneup on it including cap, button, plugs MSD wires and new coil.

It worked fine for a few days then it just quit while i was hoing down the road. It didn't start missing or anything, it just instantly quit. Before i could put it in neutral to try to start it back it just started running perfect again. Then on my way to my parents house it just instantly died and would not start back. I had the old coil with ne so i put it on and it started up. But on my way home it died again.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

could be a worn distributor.. or an ailing fuel pump... worn distributors usualy show intermittenly.. get hot anf car shuts off.. cools for a few fires right up... check the play in the rotor....

The rotor has little to no play in it.

Sounds like a bad/loose electrical connection somewhere.

That's what i was thinking but i've been all over that motor and can't find anything. Maybe a bad ground wire somewhere?
