yep, and over the years I have fine tuned the optional car thing. At first I had what I had, but as I have purchased new vehicles I have made certain to not have duplication. Before I had two sedans and a truck. The sedans are gone, so now I have one SUV, one Truck, and one Sports Car. The best of all worlds.

BTW whenever you make repairs to an engine you should go back and power wash that motor. You can't tell if the repair worked if you still have that gooey oil all over your engine. Clean it up and you'll be better off. Engine oil is a killer of a lot of things. A mechanic once told me that motor mounts and other rubber products get eaten up over time by being drenched in oil. I clean my motors every so often and have never had a problem.

i know about the oil saturating into rubber thing, after i got my camaro i was wondering why it clunked when i got on it from a dead stop. when i got under there to check things out i saw that the transmission mount was soaked in oil and it felt like a gummy bear. replaced the mount and now the tranny doesn't hit the floorboard any more.

If you had to POP it back in place, it's no good! Clean that area and replace it . Then see about the oil dripping. It may just be coming from the intake gasket. Get that ironed out first , then worry about the rear main seal.

I haven't taken one out but if it's like a temp sending unit I imagine you unscrew it, put some Teflon tape on the new one, thread it in the opening, and redo your electrical connector. should be easy enough.

When you buy the switch, buy a sending unit socket while you are there, and make sure it fits before you leave.
