If I was worried about MPG. I'd put my 1997 Dakota 4 cyl. back together. But with the few mods i have done so far. I have boosted 2 mpg. I consistantly average 13-13.5 mpg with mixed driving. I don't tow but my Yahama 450 quad racer does ride in the bed at least once a week.

Mine says STOP!!!! I'm thirsty! My last calculation says 7.5-8 MPG. Hope to bump it up 1 or 2 notches with cai and exhaust mods. Thank god this beast ain't a daily driver.

My truck has been sitting for a year so I cant remember the last figure. I never figured it down to the tenth but it has always been close. Within .5 or so. I thought you meant like 3-4 off.

I did just put a fresh 408 in and started driving it last week. I havent calculated it yet but the overhead is reading 11mpg and but I only have 100 miles on it.

Mine has been down this summer. Not been clocking near the highway miles that I usually do in the fall. The short runs I DO make, I am usually running ***** to the wall.
So far, I have been averging between 12-14 MPG.
Doesn't help when you have a friend that tries to tell you all trucks are slow. He got shown the error of his ways.
