Default lookin at some pans help!!

Will a 727 deep transmission pan fit on the 46re along with the oil pan as well?
also what do you guys recommend as in brand and how many quarts it holds

yes and no and maybe.
the bolt pattern is the same and you'll see the same deep pan listed as fitting all the 727, 518, 46xx, and i think, 47xx and 48xx. however, the stock 727 pan is pretty shallow and the stock 46re is pretty deep due to all the solenoids and wiring and stuff. so beware, an extra deep 727 may be same or less deep that a stock 46re. hughes, pml, magtech all make nice ones but they're ridiculously overpriced. caution - someone bought a summit and due to some internal fins, it was too shallow to fit a 46re. i haven't bought one yet because i'm too cheap. its actually a lot cheaper to just add a $50-60 external cooler. watch out that a magtech 727D and 727DD, like a good stripper, is not the same thing.

I didn't know they charged by the cup size...I mean pan size.
