If you want to keep the stocker, you can polish it and then wax it.
I use Blue Magic (get it at any parts store) and sand paper.
I take 1000 grit paper and wet sand it down until it looks fairly clear while wet. Then I dry it, and polish with blue magic. Usually takes 5-6 rub downs before it looks really good. Remember to coat it really good with wax when your done, or it will yellow back up in a few months in the sunshine.

I have the same problem with mine but a cheap solution that would also give it a custom look is sanding it a nd polishing and then spraying some of that spray on smoke tint you can get at a parts store. Just a light coat to keep it from looking faded again but dont spray too much or the cargo lights will get alot dimmer. I have seen people do it and it looks cool cause it kinda matches the way the stock tail lights are dark looking. That is what I am gonna do to mine ill post a pic when I am done.

On my dimmer wheel it says Dome/Cargo. You roll it up to brighten the dash gauges, keep going to the first click to turn on the dome lights, one more click to turn on the cargo light.

On yours, you twist the pull out **** that you use to turn on your headlights. You twist to the right to dim your dash lights, and to the left to turn on your dome and cargo. One click is dome, and the second click is cargo.

Have you never wondered what that white plastic thing was over your back glass?

I always assumed that it was just a 3rd brake light, and 3rd brake light only - And since I am not often able to see my own ***, I really never devoted all that much thought to it.
