Not that my opinion matters much, but i do work in a body shop and can say that from my experience brush guards and push bars do ALOT of secondary damage to trucks in medium to higher speed (25-55) mph collisions....
Something tells me that a ruptured, split in two road kill would not be the most tantalizing meal.

i picked up a road kill one day many years ago. it was hit on just one side. i threw away the bruised side and we grilled the other side and had a keg party. called it a road-kill party and had a big time.

That sounds like a southern fried good time. We have some friends of ours that the county patrol calls them when someone hits a deer. They run to the wreck and usually have to put the deer down, then they take it home and make sausage.
