Default roller rocker help

ok, ive read a ton of threads on roller rockers and i have just a few questions that they didnt answer. the harland sharp and crower rockers look good, but do i need to by a kit with the 3/8 studs and the guidplates, or can i go with ones that mount to some kind of factory location. and adjustable ones? are those the way to go, or more hassle for minimal performance. and should i get self aligning?

Unless yr running a cam I don't think u need adjustable. They should just go back in the factory location.

well ive heard some guys with the non adjustable ones having problems with too much play in the rockers. and i think i should have stud girdles for the roller rockers. but i have no idea what self aligning means

Order the 1.7 non adjustables from southeastperformance.com
Best prices and they are direct replacements for the stock stamped rockers. You won't need to reuse the guidepates. The rockers have a stud that runs from the intake to the exhaust rockers and keeps them seated properly. No stud girdle necessary, it actually won't fit on the pedestal mount.
