LED Taillights comments
OK, got my LED taillights in yesterday. Pretty well built and fit perfectly. Spent all morning sanding and painting them to match the truck. Had to scrape off all the mold flashing first. Used the Rust-o-leum paint for plastic, but it dries with a low gloss so I had to clear coat them, as well, to match the truck.

My paint booth.

The old taillights.

New ones.

Brakes on.

While I was at it painting I decided to color match the tailgate handle.

I might go ahead and do the door handles, too. May even do the mirrors at some point. Looks so much cleaner.

Did a little last night and masked the lenses, the bulk of the prep this morning. The lights came already primed in black, so after scraping down the parting lines and a little sanding with 1000 grit paper, they were ready to spray. Done, dry and ready to install by 1:30pm.
