Default 3500 srw?

I have been looking for a 2nd gen 3500 but would rather have a single rear wheel, as opposed to a dually, not only for maintenance costs, but more so for maneuverability and traction as we deal with a reasonable amount of mud and snow. Obviously I would have 4WD, but still. Was a SRW option available for 2nd gen 3500s?

Well, yes and no. Most of the srw 3500's camw thru as a cab/chassis, usually to have some kind of utility body installed on it. IIRC, 2500 series beds will bolt right on. I have only seen 1 swr 8' bed was a similar type conversion. It did not come from the factory that way.
