Tranny Question.

I'm building a custom jeep cj5 from the frame up

. Since I am a Big dodge fan, I want to drop a 98 magnum 5.2L into it with a np435 tranny from a 1990 power ram 150 or similar. My question is if the tranny will mate up with the newer 5.2L?
